However, the aluminum plate has large thinning amount, difficult control and low yield.
Because of the realization of titanium / aluminum welding in the current process, according to the calculation of explosive welding window, the titanium plate forms an effective inclined collision angle, the explosion speed needs to reach 1900 ~ 2000m / s, and the charge amount needs to reach about 60mm. During explosive welding with this charge, the aluminum plate of the transition layer has large deformation, serious thinning, and delamination is easy to occur at the aluminum / steel interface. On the contrary, due to the low explosion speed and insufficient charge, the titanium plate can not form a bending angle and effective inclined collision, that is, the explosive welding of titanium / aluminum can not be realized.
